 Mark has been involved in the production and showing of
cattle nearly all of his life. In addition to running our
farm, he owns and operates a custom baling business. I was
raised in the inner city of Cleveland where there are NO
cows. It is still a mystery as to what happens when a city
girl smells fresh air mixed with cow manure for the first
time, but the next thing you know you’re at a cattle show
blowing dry a calf!
Mark pastured his cattle at our 80-acre farm even before
we purchased it in 2006 and always called the back pasture
“the hill”. When the farm became ours, we couldn’t bring
ourselves to call it anything but what it had always been.
The Hill is now our home where we
raise Chianina, Chi-Angus, and Chi-Maine cattle. |
